THE KENNEL

Kennel Moelmo consists of me, Monica, and Jostein, who I live together with. I am working as a secretary and Jostein is working as an accountant.

The kennel was approved in late 2006 and our first litter came in the spring of 2007. To be fair, dogs is really my hobby. Jostein is more interested in other things like football, but he helps me whenever I need some help with the dogs.

I bought my first Chinese Crested in 2005, and I instantly fell for the breed. After that more and more of this beautiful but weird creatures have found their way into our home. As of today I have ten Chinese Crested.. They are all very different, but everyone have a great personality, are very charming and look great.

I don’t have all of the dogs at home. Some of them are placed with family members and good friends This is the best solution for both us and the dog right now because all of the hosts are chosen because of their love and commitment to the dogs. We will hereby thank each and everyone for their help.

It is very important for the kennel to have dogs that are healthy, has a great temper and is ‘typical’ of their breed. Everyone is tested for Patella Lux, PRA, PRAcd, KCS and PLL.

All the puppies from us is registered in the NKK database, micro chipped and treated for worms before they go to their new homes. They also get a bag with food, toys and a blanket with a scent of their mama before they go.

I travel to shows as often as I possibly can. I think shows are great fun and I have met many nice people on the different shows. These are people I still have contact with.

I want to thank everyone who has helped me along the way to getting this kennel the way it is today.

I am very thankful to have so many great dogs and I really couldn’t imagine my life without these great companions. They enriches every day and they are always there for me.

I know they call them mans best friend for a reason:)
